these past few weeks havent been the best for me. from getting sick to personal problems, to friends, school and all that life brings. but today, was one of the most surreal, scary, emotional, rewarding days ever. the thoughts that raced through my head, the feeling of being helpless and not knowing what would happen left me anxious. knowing that nothing i could say or do could change the situation forced my hand into complete faith and trust in my savior. i leaned on him all day, indoors, outdoors, sitting, standing, in near tears, and in joy. the way hardship brings people together and emotions to arise is something that can never be planned or prepared for. it was just awesome to see fellow friends and people i didnt even know come together pray and support our friend. time went by and finally the gates opened. God had opened the gates and out walked our friend. that moment, was full of tears, hugs, joy, thankfulness, grace, and silence. the silence was beautiful as if we all were connected and thinking the same thing. thank you lord. your work has truly been done. you have had your hand on this place, these people. i was greatly reminded today that his grace is sufficient for us. that in a time of pure weakness, struggle, unknown, fear, and sin, his power is made perfect. so in looking at all the bad, the what ifs, the maybes, the should have dones, i look at what happened and rejoice in the struggle. knowing that today when we were weak he was strong. that we may not lean on our own understanding but the truth, the goodness, power, and grace of Jesus Christ. i love you lord, thank you, and rejoice in your blessings
